They offered me a refund on version 2, but I didn't take it because I wanted to support the company. But, version 1 works perfectly for me, without a hitch for years. The last email I received from them says they're a couple of years out on releasing a new version. I can still download my purchased version 2, but they recommend against using it.
They even had to retract version 2, so I'm still running version 1. The company that makes it is having a hard time delivering the next version. Let me mention some concerns about Synergy. Now that I've retracted all the complexity, I'm happy to hear from Mr. I shouldn't have mentioned "TLS" if you have the computers in your own home, security might not be a concern and you can just buy the basic version at $29. I shouldn't have said "IP network", just "network". It's because I made it sound complicated I shouldn't have used the word "tinker", just apply some settings.
